How does the biodigesters system work?
Unlike other systems that require higher investment, our technology is initially based on the covering of both existing and newly constructed lagoons with an IMPERMEABLE GEOMEMBRANE of high resistance. This cover acts as a closed reactor where, in the absence of oxygen, the matter degrades in a controlled manner and captures the biogas for its utilization.
The geomembrane not only guarantees the leak-tightness of the process but also serves as a BIOGAS STORAGE system, allowing its controlled extraction for:
- Electrical and thermal self-consumption: Covering the farm’s needs totally or partially.
- Grid injection: Through its transformation into biomethane (upgrading).
- Revenue generation: Sale of energy surpluses and revaluation of slurry.
- Reduction of emissions and odors.
