Geogrids

Polymeric structure made up of bundles of fibres or bands arranged in a regular open structure, protected or not against corrosion. They are used for soil reinforcement and consolidation applications and can be manufactured by extrusion, gluing, weaving or welding, which explains the different types of interlacing.
There are also organic and biodegradable reinforcing geogrids which are also used for erosion control and margin protection applications.
