Nonwoven Geotextiles

Nonwoven geotextiles obtained by punching (needling) of staple fibres for protection, filtration or separation, drainage or reinforcement applications.
They form one of the largest groups of geosynthetics. An important characteristic of geotextiles is that they are porous and allow the passage of liquid through their plane, varying the permeability of each other. They generally fulfil one of the following functions: protection of the geomembrane, separation, reinforcement, separation, stabilisation, resurfacing, filtration and/or drainage.
